One of the best feelings in the world is to get debt paid off. I recently had the pleasure of doing that last month when I paid the last payment on my car.

Just before Thanksgiving, I received that nice square document that I’ve been waiting for three years to see - my car title. That means I actually own something. It’s not worth near the $12,000 it cost me for the three years, but I still enjoy driving it. It does need some repairs from time to time. It still gets me to my destinations and everything still works on it.

Upon paying that bill off, I am debt free, and I’m happy about it. I don’t mean to come off like I am saying I’m better than anyone else, but I am glad that I don’t have to worry about my car being repossessed or anything like that. It has been difficult at times to make payments. I’m not rich by any means, but I have been blessed that I could get everything paid off now.

Now, I can find other ways to get back into debt. The possibilities are endless. I could obviously try to go buy another car, but I’m satisfied with the one I have now.
